As the mother of four wild and wonderful boys and photographer of over 50 births I have a good deal of experience with many different birth plans. In my own births I have personally experienced hospital births, epidurals, unmedicated births, home births, solo births, births attended by obstetricians, births attended by midwives, doula supported births, long births and very VERY short births! Beyond my personal experiences I have also had the great honour to bare witness to many hospital births, home births, births at the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre, cesarean section births, water births and so much more!
Being a part of your birth story truly humbles me. My own babies are growing up and I have space in my life to respond to my calling as a doula and to support you in your birth journey. Being able to help women experience positive, empowered births, brings me so much fulfillment. Plus, it’s an added bonus I can also provide you with beautiful, professional photographs that you will cherish forever.
